The Department of Philosophy welcomes you to our 2021 virtual reunions event!

The Virtual Undergraduate Alumni Lecture by Michael Smith will take place from 3:30 pm - 4:30pm.

ABSTRACT:  When we study philosophy, we often study particular philosophical problems, or what certain figures in the history of the subject had to say about particular philosophical problems, but we rarely step back and ask ourselves how the views we develop in response to these problems fit together to make up an entire worldview. The aim in this talk is to say a little about both why having a worldview is important and how we might develop one.
