Every year, Department of Philosophy faculty and graduate students nominate philosophers whom they would like to invite to present a colloquium for the next academic year.  A final selection of 8 -12 speakers, representing a variety of sub-fields of philosophy, is made by a Colloquium Committee and invited to present what have come to be known as  Friday Talks.
