Event Description

In this inaugural Department of Philosophy annual undergraduate lecture, Professor Anita Allen, Henry R. Silverman Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania, will explore award-winning artwork by African American analytic moral philosopher Adrian Piper to address vows, social contracts, and the place of women of color in academic philosophy.
