Graduate student Claudia Dumitru has won the 2022 British Society for the History of Philosophy (BSHP) Graduate Essay Prize for her paper “Hobbes on Children and Parental Dominion.” Open to graduate students worldwide, studying any subject, the £1000 prize is awarded to the writer of an essay “that makes a significant contribution to the history of philosophy.” BSHP will officially announce the winner at their annual conference in April.
