Assistant Professor David Builes and Michele Odisseas Impagnatiello, fifth-year graduate student in philosophy at the Massachusettes Institute of Technology, have been awarded the 2022 Sanders Prize in Philosophy of Mind for their paper “Experience and Time: A Metaphysical Approach.” The biennial award carries a cash prize of $5,000 and the winning paper will be published in the quarterly journal Analytic Philosophy.
This is the second Sanders Prize the pair received in one year. Their article entitled “An Empirical Argument for Presentism” won the 2022 prize in Metaphysics.
