The American Philosophical Association has announced that Henry Putnam University Professor of Philosophy Mark Johnston will deliver the 2024 Patrick Romanell Lecture in philosophical naturalism.  The selection committee cited Johnston’s work in exploring “the ways in which we can make sense of humanity and its place in the world within a naturalistic perspective, giving us a richer understanding of key philosophical concepts including ‘naturalism’ itself.” The lecture will be delivered at the APA’s 2024 Eastern Division meeting in New York.
