An article by Madeleine Roberts, who just completed her first year as a grad student in the Department of Philosophy, was published this month on the American Philosophical Association (APA) blog. 

In “Thermodynamic Insider Baseball (or: Why Philosophy of Physics Matters)” Roberts engagingly reflects on her recent experience as a philosopher in a 500-level physics course as she searches for a more “satisfactory” answer to a question she says she has “answered at least a dozen times, in a dozen different ways."
