Virtual Class Day surprise for 2020 graduates

June 8, 2020

“The Good Place” creator Michael Schur was a surprise guest speaker at the Department of Philosophy’s first-ever Virtual Class Day event on June 1, 2020.

The successful television writer, producer and series creator – whose other credits include “The Office,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” –  revealed that he had been “dabbling in philosophy as a rank amateur for about ten years” and said he was in awe of our graduates’ decision to pursue a degree in philosophy.
